Who We Are

We believe that as we build support for each other's businesses, we not only create a stronger economy, but a stronger sense of community. We don’t just believe in simply supporting our fellow businesses financially, we develop ties and friendships by supporting each other as human beings. What makes BIG special is that we know each other on a personal level, and that leads us to help each other in non-tangible ways. We root for each other, not just in business but in personal matters. We know about your hobbies, passions, dreams, family, etc, and we know when somebody is struggling in either business or personal matters, and we show up for each other, whether it is for somebody’s kids dance recital, helping a friend move or simply sharing a drink and conversation. We are passionate about being involved and supporting the numerous nonprofits in our community, and encouraging civic engagement. In short, we (all of you) have built a “networking” organization that has become so much more than that. We have built a home for small businesses, a place free of judgment, full of love and support, where friendships and partnerships flourish, and where every member's unique personality and talents has helped to shape the success and growth of BIG. This is an element that we never want to lose, regardless of how much growth BIG sees in the future.
